I am so excited...this is the week that we can tell our family. The letter has been dropped in the mail to Jan and Greg, hopefully they will get it today. My parents arrive tonight and we already told Chuck when we were in Pella last weekend. His reaction was priceless, the best double take I have ever seen. He is so excited that he went out and bought some baby equipment to make his house ready for when two grandchildren are coming to play.
How your baby's growing:
Though he's barely the size of a kumquat — a little over an inch or so long, crown to bottom — and weighs less than a quarter of an ounce, your baby has now completed the most critical portion of his development. This is the beginning of the so-called fetal period, a time when the tissues and organs in his body rapidly grow and mature.
