He Three

This story is a little behind in being posted, but it is too funny to not get some attention. Adam, Harrison, and Aunt Amy were eating at China One Buffet in Des Moines for lunch about a month ago. The waitress came around to the table to see if they needed anything else and to hand over the bill. Now, the policy at China One is that kids under three eat for free-yes it even rhymes. So, the woman gave Adam the bill and he noticed that it had an extra charge on it, one for Harrison. He asked the waitress about it and let her know that Harrison is one. She looked carefully at Harrison and responded, "No, he three". Adam immediately replied "No, he One". Apparently she did not believe him and again said "He three" and left the charge on the bill. I guess maybe the unofficial policy at China One is that children must look younger than three-not actually be younger than three. I will be ready on our next trip to the buffet with birth certificate in hand, and will be fully prepared to yell, "He One" as many times as it takes-you have to save a couple bucks wherever you can:)

VERY FUNNY.

The last time I was there with Molly, our waiter said, "Thank you Moo-lee" when he brought back her credit card receipt. Always an adventure at the China One Buffet!
