VEISHEA

It was VEISHEA weekend in Ames and we made sure to take part in as many activities as possible. Harrison loved the parade, the cotton candy, and the firetrucks.

His favorite part of the weekend was seeing the carnival rides, especially the one that had dragons. He was too little to ride anything, but loved watching all of the people and lights. The parade was another highlight! He was such a perfect angel the whole time. He sat on the blanket or our laps to watch everything and didn't even mind when it started to sprinkle, of course all of the candy helped to keep his attention. Another highlight was the Tae Kwon-Do demonstration...

This was complete with sound effects "huh".

Harrison has always been very social and friendly, but being in such a large crowd really reminded me of this. He waved at the people in the parade and yelled "Hi Peoples" to just about everyone. What a blast!
